Dear Alumni,
The Goshen High School Alumni will be having its 110th annual alumni event on May 9th, 2009 at THE NEW GOSHEN HIGH SCHOOL. The evening begins with a Friendship Hour at 4:00 in the High School small gym. The Friendship Hour is free. Dinner follows the Friendship Hour in the cafeteria and begins at 6:30 pm. The dinner cost is $10.00 per person.
If you are a member of one of the honored classes this year, we would like your help. Each honored class (1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999) needs a representative to introduce its class members. If you would like to be the representative for your class, please contact Candy Meadors @ 513-310-2626.
You may request dinner tickets by enclosing your requests with a check for the dinner(s). Please include your graduation year on your check. If you would like to have your dinner tickets mailed to you, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. You may contact Candy Fisher Meadors ONLY for dinner tickets @513-310-2626 in the evening or weekend hours. THE DEADLINE FOR REQUESTS FOR DINNER TICKETS IS MAY 4TH, 2009. All checks for dinner tickets should be made out to the GOSHEN HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION.
We are pleased to announce that Jim Brown (class of 1964), Charlene Gibson Blevins (class of 1990), and Bill Schmidbauer, retired teacher/coach will be inducted into the Goshen Hall of Fame this year.
We hope that you will join us as we honor these outstanding inductees.
The Alumni Association is involved in a restoration project which involves original graduation class photos. This year, the original class photos from 1960 through 1969 will be offered at a silent auction. You will have a chance to bid on these original graduation class photos.
The main focus of the Alumni Association is to provide scholarships to deserving students to further their education and to provide a vehicle for Goshen graduates to reunite each year through the Alumni dinner and Friendship Hour. You could play a major role in assisting the association with your contribution toward scholarships in your personal donation or in memorial gifts in honor of a passed loved one or friend. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be applied toward scholarship money for students. Last year nine recipients received scholarships in the amount of $1000 each.
We are asking that anyone who has commencement programs from the ‘60"s or ‘70"s to bring their copy with them to the dinner or friendship hour.

We are always looking for new members, new ideas and new ways to raise money for our scholarships. Please feel free to attend an Alumni meeting, which is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from January through June and from October through November, at 2:00pm at the Goshen Township Hall.
